I think lists like this are greatly helpful when you are getting into something new. There is an overwhelming wealth of information out there these days that is both fantastic and makes you want to fall over.
To accompany the link to the article are some photos of what was essentially my first paying shoot with strangers.
I was so nervous. It’s true. The very beginning of the article that simply says STAY CALM absolutely hits the nail on the head. 
The day went beautifully. The family could not have been nicer or more photogenic and the weather and setting were ideal. The family was interested in natural photographs of their children with their personalities shining and engaged in the setting.
