I drew a sort of a Tarot card at work today. I am learning oh so many new things.

Well it wasn’t actually a card of that sort…but a sort of fun game random guidance draw.

A two minute mental break with two co-workers/friends/women/trainers/what have yous.

Mine was called,

“Body Talk”

Shakes, heart beating, restless legs…whatever it is, I have to listen!

So that was my message for the day. My ONE small thing to focus on. Tune IN.

Fall Freshy, Get Cozy…

My first photo three or four years ago..when the idea of photography was introduced..was a pile of fall Autumn leaves on a residential street on upper Capitol Hill in Seattle.

This pile of leaves under a mossy mature tree was somewhere between my home on 17th and the Photo Center NorthWest where I was to begin my first class and public critique.

Now it is October 15th, 2011, a few years later..Fall again, leaves again, I just so do want to take that amateur photo again..and again.

Those leaves are gorgeous y’all.

Tonight, here I am, home from a glorious and elegant indoor wedding. A Fall wedding.

Siblings. and siblings…

Sweet dreams.

of ever after!;)

Life goes shockingly fast…

I look through these archives of photos that seem moments ago.

I feel like in the time that I’ve organized my files and moved once again and still like the same neon dress, and one earring, and bright nail polish, and need to respond to that email and yet…

whole worlds have changed. Life, death, growth, and relationships. I can’t keep up.

Shocking things have passed..babies have grown into children, bands have broken up, adventures across the country have passed, never-ending jobs are over, family structures have changed, graduations and new jobs have shifted.

Many of my closest friends have moved far away on brave missions.

I need to journal to remember that freezing Halloween day shooting in Queens, or the 5 seconds after Mariella was born actually seeing her face, Rio stomping it out at graduation in her cowboy boots and gown, or it all turns into an unfair summary that doesn’t do justice to the beauty of each day.

Making tacos and ginger tea is about the only consistency. Then drinking wine and soft serve ice cream too as much as I try to avoid ’em.

Where, when, and who with to enjoy these flavors…that is unknown. On a bicycle, on a plane, on a job?

I’ma believer. Led by the likes these inspirational swimmers.

I’m thrilled to be in the golden NW and not escaping freezing temps on a nauseating cruise.

No thanks to you Norwegian Cruise Line. You and your gelatinized “desserts” can stay swaying in the sea. đŸ˜‰ I’ll stay off your massive vessels and stick to either tiny ones, or on ground where there is always soft serve and fro yo to be had.

This is September last year. Some post-race loving with my parents after finishing a 15k. Indeed I left for NYC the next day!

So put on your shades folks. The future (month) is bright!

Hitting September and 85 degrees makes me feel good about that belief.

THIS I believe…

Baby therapy works.

I believe in mornings accompanied with zinger tea and stimulating Canadian radio.

(Seriously…Canadians keep it interesting and real. Check out the link for this mornings educational story!)

Let’s dip our toes in. New things are always ahead!

From oh so wee time ago!

Moments ago I was setting off to party with this dude.

And even better, this whole crew!

Get tuckered out from exploring like whoa.

Refresh ourselves under the Spanish sun, with fun company, like yum.

Remember to stay close and sweet on the foreign streets!

Eat so many olives, and other treats.

(Other treats)

Fun games (equals more treats!)

Beautiful old town Tarifa…

With beautiful youngtown ladies

Sushi party making with German kitesurfing goddesses of course!

In this mecca of beauty and spirit

Lest we forget, great music

And nightlife too…

Olive trees for miles…

CLICK.

I just don’t want to forget.

Unbelievable.
