In spirit of this project and the tips that flash in my mind (BRING YOUR CAMERA EVERYWHERE)
I walked downtown today with my camera bag, with wallet tucked in, sans purse.
It’s the beginning of the year. Goals are afloat. Health goals. Professional goals.
Other types of goals.
C heard a guy on the radio talk about his resolution to eat nachos everyday for the month of January. He did this.
My goals are only slightly similar.
On my way back up, listening to This American Life Podcast–(about Penn State number one party school—yiikkkesssss) wet, in the rain, perfectly content, I stopped at this beautiful blue graffitied circle. There, I did the deed. Took a picture. Of myself.
It was a bit embarrassing sure but didn’t compare to the college kids in the podcast. I steeled myself for the minor blushing and clicked.
I bet Ira Glass wouldn’t blink an eye at such a project, his producers were crashing frat parties.
Then I came home, visited with Ryan. Said goodbye to my first grown up Christmas tree. Sob.
Chucked it over my shoulder and into the truck it went.
In came the records, the shelves, and the drafting table brought from the parental home front–Bellingham.
Here’s what the gorgeous shelves look like that Mom made Kai for Christmas (and a teaser version of Kai’s Christmas outfit to boot!)
More homification up in our cozy Captiol Hill casa.
