They hurt so bad I finally bought my first REAL pair of running shoes..from Kira (our good amiga) at Super Jock and Jill on Green Lake. Yes, I went INTO a store named Super Jock and Jill AND even ran up and down this runway thing in the store in front of employees (holding my boobs mind you) and let them look at my balance. I took these beauties for their first spin walking down to Pike Place and this creepy and beautiful waterfront park..and look how gorgeous the view is. Of my large feet.
I love adventures out with the little guys..Keston gets sweeter, more mischievous, and articulate everyday. Here he is showing me a pine cone (a dino that shares= love) in Volunteer Park. He inspired a whole class of kindergarteners to play a dinosaur game on their playground. However Keston wasn’t interested in being their pawn (swings and slides with Chelon, strict playground routine) and the kids had to force their teacher to play the dinosaur and growl away. 🙂
I felt odd this night..but decided to brave heading all the way to Fremont for a samba show anyway (thank you Kelly!). It was well worth it..these woman could SHAKE and SING and I left feeling inspired and happy I made the journey. And a little sweaty.
And pissed I had sort of straightened my hair around all these wild haired Brazilians. If any time to let it go..’fro miscalculation on my part. 🙂 It happens.
I had not. It was hilarious, beautiful, and interesting. There was piano playing, toga exposure, eating out of pineapples, and lots of bubbly. There was discussion of who should have who’s babies (that just met..that night), how mellow (not always in a great way) people are in Seattle vs. Toronto, Microsoft protocol (and how some are strange for foreigners to translate into their culture..and if they should have to or not) taking ballet as an adult, men with swords, if people we or were not dating (but were or were not making out–now), and who would most likely wear their skin-bearing Greek costume to work the next day.
